I have been busy making my soaps to list for the holidays. They came out so nice and sparkly. I will be listing these in my shop in 3 weeks. The first soap, with the cupcakes and candy on top, is called Strawberry Bubbly and is a duplication of Strawberry Champagne. The second soaped is called Cherries in the Snow and smells like cream and cherries. The third soaps are salt bars and I can't wait to try one out. I've only made a few salt bars. This one is filled with salts and has pink himalayan salts sprinkled on top. I haven't come up with a name for these yet.
I have also made some more wax tarts but haven't taken their pictures yet. That's on the list for tonight. The scents are raspberry cheesecakes, strawberry bread, butter pecan pie, and cranberry apple bread. They have my schoolroom smelling so delicious. ;0)
Thanks for stopping by my blog. I hope you are having a wonderful, blessed weekend.

I finally got most all my new scents listed yesterday. Listing is definitely not my favorite part of the crafting. It takes so long to take the pictures and list everything. Maybe one day I'll figure out a faster, easier way of doing it. I'm even thinking of making my own website in the near future instead of using etsy. All the fees I have to pay on etsy add up. The plus side of etsy is the traffic it gets. Lots of potential for customers when you are just starting out like us.
I made some soap today. I didn't take any pictures of it yet. The whole kitchen smells good! I used a new cranberry fragrance I hadn't used before. It soaped great...no problems. It's a fragrance I'm sure I'll make again. Tomorrow, I'm making Cherry Burst. It's one I've made before but will be making it look different this time. Since it's soap that will be for the holidays, I'm trying to come up with names to fit this time of year. My little chicks are the ones that usually help with that part. Stay tuned for soap pics this week!

My oldest daughter and I have been making felt food lately for my youngest daughters. This has been so much fun. There are so many great ideas on the internet. I started looking through etsy because that's where I sell my soap and wax so I'm on there most everyday. There are so many talented, gifted people in this world. I love looking at all the handmade things on that site. When I searched for felt food, there were so many to look through but we got some ideas, made our own little patterns, and started sewing! So I thought I'd share what we've made so far here on my blog. More to come I'm sure!

These are some things I have made a while back but I am going to make at least two of these things again this weekend. The little lamb comes from a blog I have followed for a long time (http://turkeyfeathers.typepad.com/turkey_feathers/) and she has the cutest free patterns. I want to make another little lamb for a friend that's having her first baby. I may make her a diaper cake or diaper stroller too. I'm not sure yet. The last thing I need to make is some soap! I've got to get some more soap made to fill up my etsy shop. Everytime I get a batch made, someone has bought it...lol, which is good, but I haven't been able to fill up my shop since I moved ;0).
The weather has changed to fall here and I am loving it. We have been enjoying family time in the evenings outside together and it's been so nice. It is already so cool outside so I'm hoping that means we could possibly have a cold winter. Here in the South, it never gets cold enough for me. And when it does get cold, it never lasts very long. ;0) My children would love to see some snow. I think I'm living in the wrong place for that!
Have a wonderful weekend!
